 DeepEX is an innovative, easy to use, software program for deep excavations, developed by experts for engineers like you. It can perform both geotechnical and structural design for many wall types that include soldier pile walls, sheet pile walls, and diaphragm walls with multiple sections of reinforcement. DeepEX can also perform slope stability analysis with soil nailing. It comes packed with all structural and geotechnical design codes. DeepEX is an upgrade to our DeepEX 16 and DeepXcav 2012 versions.Deep Excavation has released DeepEX 2023 (23.22) is the ultimate software for the design and analysis of any deep excavation model with different methods.
What's new in DeepEX 2023
New Features in DeepEX 2023 (in comparison with previous software versions)1. Text to model features: Write descriptive commands and automatically generate excavation models.

4. Seismic Analysis Options: Including cohesion effects can reduce the total seismic demand with these two methods:
- RichardsShi solution for soils with both cohesion and friction
- Machairas Iskander solution for soils with both cohesion and friction
5. Frame analysis (3D walers):
- Visualization speed improvements.
- Weld and connection generation improvements.
- Options for reducing waler moments by modelling bracing reactions at strut edges.
- Viewing increment option for 3D models.
- Waler extensions to struts, extend walers at connections. Connect struts to waler extensions for complex geometries.
6. Digital Twin City Data: Import buildings from DXF and CadMapper, import utility lines from QGIS dxf files. Tools allow you to easily import utility lines for damage assessment.
7. City Module & Ground Data: Transportation level analysis based on Google API, MapQuest, and other methods. This large data feature allows for the quick study of the impact of large scale tunneling works on existing underground utility infrastructure.

- Export to DXF: DeepEX has a new module that allows you to export 80% drawings to DXF. You can export multiple stages and create stage sequencing diagrams. You can also export stages with result diagrams.
- Pile Supported Abutments: Evaluate pile supported abutments with all pile types for lateral and vertical pile loads, and also examine their effects on an adjacent excavation.
