The software developer Hydraulics and Hydrology is pleased to announce the availability of OpenFlows WaterOPS CONNECT Edition Update 3 (10.03.05.05) is a complete predictive modeling solution for real-time water network operations, maintenance, and forecasting.

What's New in WaterOPS CONNECT Edition Update 3 (10.03.05.05)

MicroStation CONNECT Edition integration
Integration with MicroStation CONNECT Edition is now supported with this release of WaterOPS.
Additional Automated Fire Flow Updates
A few additional updates have been included for the automated fire flow run in WaterOPS. This includes additional details in the Fire Flow Status. If a fire flow node fails, the Fire Flow Status will include better information on the cause of the failure.
Supported Platforms:
- Standalone (no CAD or GIS software required); Note that WaterOPS is a standalone-only application
- MicroStation CONNECT Edition and MicroStation V8i SELECTseries 10 and earlier
- AutoCAD 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022
Model Compatibility
Models saved in build 10.03.05.XX of WaterOPS can be opened in other 10.03.XX.XX releases. Older model files can be opened in the latest version without issue.
Stability enhancements and fixes to reported issues
As with all new versions, this release of WaterOPS includes fixes to various user-reported issues from the previous release, providing an overall more stable experience.


OpenFlows WaterOPS is a real-time operational and optioneering decision support solution for urban water supply and distribution. Integrating live SCADA data with a calibrated hydraulic model, OpenFlows WaterOPS computes real-time conditions throughout water networks, based on existing conditions and forecasted future conditions. OpenFlows WaterOPS empowers water utilities to instantaneously gain better visibility into dark data between monitored locations, predict future performance, and react to events and emergencies.

Operators and operations engineers can confidently share and collaborate with stakeholders by evaluating various what-if actions when quick decisions are needed due to a fire, pipe break, pump outage, or other time-critical events. Moreover, the software can determine network impact and the ensuing effects these events will have on customers.
