NI Electric Motor Simulation Toolkit 2018 | 741.3 mb

The LabVIEW team is pleased to announce the availability of Electric Motor Simulation Toolkit 2018 is an add-on for both the LabVIEW platform and NI VeriStand. This toolkit provides LabVIEW VIs and sample projects to help you control and simulate an electric motor by writing your own applications.

About NI Electric Motor Simulation Toolkit. The NI Electric Motor Simulation Toolkit provides the modeling elements to develop both desktop and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations of electric motor systems. The toolkit features a LabVIEW project template for electric simulation, control, and HIL as well as NI VeriStand add-ons for the various motor types. You can execute the models on a host computer for software-only simulation, NI real-time targets for traditional HIL, or NI FPGA targets for high-speed HIL.

The toolkit contains switched reluctance motor (SRM), AC induction motor (ACIM) and permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) models in a simple linear approximation or in higher fidelity models. The highest fidelity versions integrate models from JSOL's JMAG-RT toolchain. With the lookup-table based models, both the open API version and the JMAG-RT models, you can accurately simulate highly nonlinear behavior such as cogging torque and magnetic saturation.

About National Instruments. Since 1976, National Instruments has equipped engineers and scientists with tools that accelerate productivity, innovation and discovery. NI’s graphical system design approach to engineering provides an integrated software and hardware platform that speeds the development of any system needing measurement and control. The company’s long-term vision and focus on improving society through its technology supports the success of its customers, employees, suppliers and shareholders.
