The Siemens Digital Industries development team is pleased to announce the availability of Simcenter FloMASTER 2020.2. With the 2020.2 release of Simcenter system simulation solutions, Siemens Digital Industries Software continues to help you obtain the best design possible.

With this update, our system simulation tools tackle industry trends and challenges to deliver insights earlier. It offers you the freedom to explore and innovate safer and faster.

Also for this release, the enhancements are focused on the deployment of system simulation throughout the company and on connectivity and synergies with other simulation tools to achieve greater productivity and return on investment. Also, the electrification race and the process industries are two important areas of development for 2020.2 versions.

Simcenter Flomaster 2020.2

- Automatically import fluid properties from a variety of different tools using the CAPE-OPEN standard
- Validate and optimize multiple control strategies using Automation Connect
- Enhance collaboration using Teamcenter Simulation

The enhancements of Simcenter Flomaster 2020.2 focus on connectivity. The support of the CAPE-OPEN standard allows automatic import of fluid properties from a variety of different tools. It allows you to increase the accuracy and efficiency of the simulation process.

Simcenter Flomaster

1. Install Flomaster 2020.1 Win64. Do not install License server!
At setup when asked for License server input: 1717@localhost

2. Copy "MGLS.DLL" to <Flomaster 2020.1 program folder>
(by default C:\Program Files (x86)\Simcenter\Flomaster_2020.1 ) with overwrite

3. Copy folder "ProgramData" to C: with overwrite

4. Copy folder "Mentor_License_Server_11.16_x64" to computer
(path to folder "Mentor_License_Server_11.16_x64" mast be
as short as possible and does not include non English letters!)

5. Run as Administrator "Mentor_License_Server_11.16_x64\server_install.bat"
and wait until new service "MENTOR FlexLM Server" will be started

6. Run "mentor_dual_licensing.reg" and confirm to add info into Windows Registry

7. REBOOT!

8. Enjoy
