Hexagon is proud to announce the release of Digimat-CAE / Moldex3D 2025.2 is the state-of-the-art multiscale material modelling platform focusing on the micromechanical modelling of complex multiphase materials such as plastics, composites, metals, and elastomers, revealing how they perform at part and system levels. What’s New in Digimat 2025.2
Some main highlights of this release include:
– Gate position analysis multiscale workflow: Digimat-MS introduces a new workflow to evaluate the impact of different injection gate positions on short fiber-reinforced plastic components. Users can define multiple gate scenarios and run the corresponding injection moulding and structural simulations. Results are compared using a failure indicator threshold to identify the most effective gate strategy. This workflow streamlines design exploration helping engineers optimize gate placement while reducing the time and effort required to assess multiple injection configurations.
– Creep failure workflow: Digimat 2025.2 provides a complete workflow for creep failure analysis of short and long fiber reinforced plastics. A creep failure indicator based on the Tsai-Hill 3D transversely isotropic stress-based model is now supported. Experimental creep lifetime data as a function of the maximum stress can be imported into Digimat-MX to reverse engineer and calibrate the creep failure indicator. In Digimat-MS, users can post-process the creep lifetime of the plastic components using the calibrated material card to identify critical regions with the lowest time to failure.
– Calibration of phase constituents variability based on ply properties: Digimat-VA 2025.2 offers an automated workflow to estimate the constituent-level variability from known ply-level data. Users can input measured variability at the laminate level from testing reports, and Digimat-VA automatically calibrates the corresponding variability at the constituent level using a material-specific variability sensitivity matrix.
– Fatigue post-processing of composite parts: Digimat-MS allows users to perform fatigue post-processing of both short and continuous fiber reinforced plastics. The workflow now supports UD laminate composite parts modelled with shell elements and draping data, enabling more accurate durability predictions.

(2)安装msc_licensing_lithium_sp1_windows64.exe,使用默认目录安装,不要改动目录。到结束页面取消勾选“start nlmtools automatically”,退出。
(3)到【补丁】目录下复制MSC.exe替换到C:\Program Files\MSC.Software\MSC Licensing\Lithium下的同名文件。
(4)将license.dat复制到C:\Program Files\MSC.Software\MSC Licensing\Lithium下面
(5)打开lmstools.exe,找到【config services】,勾选start server at power up,然后点击save services。前往【stop
