RocSlope2 is a software designed for the analysis of rock slopes susceptible to wedge, planar, and toppling failure. It provides a single platform for these analyses, streamlining the process for engineers and geologists. The software allows for the creation and analysis of thousands of different models, including RocPlane, SWedge, and RocTopple models, all at once, making it a powerful tool for assessing the stability of rock slopes and identifying potential failures quickly. RocSlope2 includes features such as Stereonet View for visualizing joint orientation data, automatic bolt pattern locating to reinforce failing blocks, and probabilistic analysis options that allow users to define input parameters as random variables and create thousands of different models to determine the probability of failure. The software is particularly useful for applications like bench design in open pit mines, stability analysis of road cuts, support system design for open pit mines, and assessing the stability of rock dams with ponded and joint water pressure.

Features of Rocscience RocSlope2 :

•

Streamline the creation and analysis of your rock slope models. You can create thousands of different RocPlane, SWedge and RocTopple models all at once, then quickly determine the probability of failure across all failure modes for each block.

• Identify thousands of failures, then use the automatic bolt pattern locating feature to repair the blocks most at risk. Provide the software with a set of parameters to determine where bolts are placed, and it’ll automatically reinforce failing blocks and provide new factors of safety.
• Analyze complex geological structures and quickly identify and reinforce potential failures. RocSlope2 provides a comprehensive 3D analysis of joint intersections and slope formations, and with Stereonet View, you can better visualize joint orientation data.
