CIMCO A/S has released CIMCO Edit 2026 (26.01.23) is the world's most popular CNC program editor for professional programmers who demand a reliable, full-featured editing, simulation and communication tool.

The CIMCO Software 2026 release introduces several important enterprise-focused enhancements designed to strengthen security, simplify management, and improve interoperability:
- Encrypted communication between clients and servers is now enabled by default, improving security across the entire system.
- A new REST API allows seamless integration with third-party management and automation tools.
- Office document preview in the NC-Base Client, enabling Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files to be viewed directly within the application without opening external programs.

- New: Added a minimap to Multi Channel Synchronization, enabled by default and configurable under Setup > Multi Channel > Multi channel view > 'Show multi channel minimap'. (S29712)

- Fix: Fixed issue with persisted data not always being loaded.
- Fix: Fixed issue with post processor override text field not updating when changing machine.
