OptiNest, the name of the Ushaped design software, is based on a powerful algorithm that uses the functions of the CalepiLib library . The program is designed to design comfortable nested shapes as well as optimal use of space . The entry of the parts framework into the program, as well as the tools and parts that have holes, is possible by the DXF File or by the design by the software itself. The framework of the parts, in addition to being determined by a closed multi-weakness, is also described by a sequence of open polygons, bows and lines . The software allows quick design of polygons, rectangles and circular shapes .

Optimization algorithms of this software from several parameters, including the thickness of the cutting tools, depths and calculated the factor of smoothing ( Italian ) components used, that whatever the accuracy of these parameters rise, the time duration Applied Optimization is also increased . It is also possible to determine the color, number, rotation and reversal of shapes, as well as grouping parts of other capabilities provided . The proliferation mode included in this software allows you to place a large number of shapes, with minimal space waste . Finally, the generated nested maps have the possibility of getting output as dfx files that are transferable to a CAD software or CNC machine .
