Autodesk has released Vault Products 2024.2.1. The 2024 release has enhancements to help you accelerate your overall design creation and data management experience.

Known Issues

Add-ins: Inventor
- The saved search is displayed in the list, even if the "Save As Folder" checkbox is unchecked. PDM-41681
Client
- The context menu is missing in the "Group By Box" field within the Rename wizard. *PDM-41637
- The new columns added in the Rename and Replace wizard appear in a random order within the grid. *PDM-41640
- Unable to drag and drop the new column to the "Group By box" field in the Replace wizard. Users must utilize the "Group By This Field" command in the context menu. *PDM-41653

Add-ins: Inventor
- Resolved an issue where the Revision Table was incorrect after a purge of the released version with the first and last. PDM-42622
- Resolved an issue where the Inventor would crash if users canceled the placement of a base view of a drawing while Vault was loaded. PDM-41841
- Resolved an issue where the Inventor would crash if users canceled the placement of a base view of a drawing while Vault was loaded. PDM-41937
Client
- Resolved an issue where some of the context menu commands were missing in the Rename Wizard. PDM-41997
- Resolved an issue where the users were unable to select views for the saved search folder. PDM-42093
- Resolved an issue where the Manage Access field remained empty despite having a custom role with all permissions/admin added. PDM-41574
- Resolved an issue where the Vault Client loading time increased when having multiple shortcuts. PDM-42310
- Resolved an issue where the Replace option in Vault replaces all places even if some of the assemblies are unselected. PDM-42083
- Resolved an issue where the Vault Client was slower in response after resuming action in the Vault Client left idle for some time. PDM-42555
- Resolved issue where some commands are missing in context menu of Rename dialog. PDM-41826

- Resolved an issue where the Assign/Update Item in Vault on an Assembly turned off BOM Rows for components after an upgrade. PDM-42348

- Resolved an issue where the import/export of a Vault configuration file failed when a lifecycle definition was created with only one lifecycle state. PDM-42349
Thin Client
- Resolved an issue with sign-in from the Thin Client when the Vault name contains special characters such as brackets. PDM-42342
- Resolved issue where the “Permission Denied” appeared in Vault Thin Client when clicking on the Where Used tab of a child component when one of the parent of child component is inaccessible. PDM-42657
- Resolved an issue where the View command failed when run from an item on associated part or drawing files. PDM-42103

- Fixed the performance issue of the Viewer in Vault. PDM-41860
