Ansys SimAI Pro 2026 is a local version of the Ansys SimAI Premium cloud-based generative AI platform, providing desktop access to tools for accelerating engineering simulations and optimizing design without the need for cloud computing. SimAI is designed for a broader range of users—from engineers and designers to business users—and enables rapid performance evaluation of new designs based on simulation results.

Key Features of Ansys SimAI
The platform uses object shape as an input parameter, rather than traditional geometric parameters, expanding the capabilities of design exploration even with inconsistent shapes in the training data. SimAI is trained on previously generated data from Ansys products or other sources, enabling rapid prediction of new project outcomes.
Application areas: electronics, structures, fluids, and other engineering fields. The platform supports multiphysics and can be used to predict performance in areas such as aerodynamics, crash testing, thermal processes, and more.
Advantages
– acceleration of the design process: the ability to test 10-100 times more design options compared to traditional methods;
– reducing the load on high-performance computing (HPC) by reducing the number of full simulations while maintaining high accuracy;
– intuitive interface that does not require programming skills or deep learning;
Technologies: SimAI utilizes regularization methods, including local methods, built directly into the model structure, ensuring stability and expressiveness. A unique confidence metric, which calculates the distance to the nearest known geometry in high-dimensional space, is used to assess the uncertainty in predictions.
Features of SimAI Pro
SimAI Pro provides access to SimAI functionality from the desktop, which may be convenient for users who prefer to work locally.
